About Wang's Kitchen

Wang's Kitchen is a chinese restaurant in Raleigh, North Carolina. It is listed at 1030 N Rogers Ln, Raleigh, NC 27610, which places it among the local businesses of Raleigh that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.

In cities with a Chinatown, weekend mornings bring dim sum carts or order sheets, and lines form early at the most popular spots in Raleigh; walk-ins are standard and reservations are uncommon outside large banquet restaurants. Regional labels matter: Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan, Shanghainese and Taiwanese kitchens cook very differently, so a restaurant's stated region is a better guide to the food than the word "Chinese" alone. Some smaller restaurants in North Carolina are BYOB with no corkage fee; call ahead to confirm. A tip of 15-20% is customary for table service but not expected at counter-order takeout. Spice level, MSG and allergen questions are normal to ask before ordering, and most kitchens are happy to leave an ingredient out or tone down the heat if you mention it when ordering rather than after the food arrives.

The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. The most common schedule is 11 am–10 pm. It is closed on Tuesday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (919) 792-0788. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone.

Raleigh is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Raleigh follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I meant to add this review last week but I’ll add it today. Last Friday I ordered my usual which was chicken wings, beef lo mein and chicken fried rice to eat later. When it came to my door, it was burnt. All of the food was nasty. It tasted as if someone used bad oil and reheated a previous customers order and put it into to-go boxes. although this was done to me on one occasion, I usually have great food. No offense to the establishment, but I think they did this because it was a to go order and I could not come back and refund my money.

Delicious! Well portioned. We ordered at the counter and our food was ready within 15 minutes. The place is clean and the food was tasty. Highly recommend.

Pros: the service was pretty good overall. Cons: the fried rice was bland along with the egg rolls. The sesame chicken was the main disappointment since it wasn't fresh. It was hard & certain pieces were dark/old looking, so basically inedible. Definitely won't be returning.

Dirt cheap. Simple basic menu. Not fancy but as tasty as any high priced Chinese restaurant. Lunch portion of shrimp lo menu was under $6 and could have fed 2.

I ordered for Peking duck. The price was great $15, but the skin was loose & fatty rather crispy. Lesson learned. It’s a place out N. Raleigh (creedmoor?)that makes it perfect for $25.. idk the name but it’s right next to a gas station
